The Al Dhafra Festival celebrates Bedouin culture and showcases Emirati heritage, crafts and food. It's approximately a two hour drive from Abu Dhabi located outside of Madinat Zayed in the Al Dhafra region of Abu Dhabi. Hundreds of men and women from tribes across the region come to Al Dhafra Festival to exhibit and compete in events that bring alive aspects of the Bedouin lifestyle. They have a traditional souq, handicrafts, falcons, camel milking contest, arts and crafts among several other events.
